IDEAS Conferences

IDEAS (Isodicentric 15 Exchange Advocacy & Support) holds bi-annual international conferences in the U.S. in odd numbered years. These conferences provide a unique opportunity for families to meet other families and learn about the latest advances in research and treatment options for duplications of chromosome 15q.

Research Roundtable
Each conference is immediately preceded by a research roundtable where researchers interested in dup15q are invited to share their research and talk about future research priorities.

2007 Conference
The 4th International IDEAS Conference, Sharing the Journey, will be held June 28 – 30, 2007, Seaport Hotel in Boston, Massachusetts (USA). A conference program will be posted in early 2007. Registration Form [73k PDF]

2005 Conference
The 3rd International IDEAS Conference, Growing up Together was held in Schaumburg, IL. A summary of this conference can be found in the Fall 2005 issue of the MIRROR.

2003 Conference
The 2nd Conference on Isodicentric 15 and Related Disorders was held in Philadelphia, PA. This conference was co sponsored by Genetic Services at Elwyn and IDEAS.

2001 Conference
The 1st Conference on Isodicentric 15 and Related Disorders was held in Philadelphia, PA. This conference was sponsored and convened by Genetic Services at Elwyn, Elwyn, PA.
